Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque is a state-recognized charity organization, legally and fiscally authorised to receive legacies, donations and life insurance policies, exempt from inheritance and transfer taxes. As an individual, you can therefore benefit from a tax reduction of 75%, up to a limit of €1,000 (for 2024), and 66% above that, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income if you pay taxes in France. For companies: 60% of the amount of the donation is deductible from corporation tax up to a limit of 0.5% of your turnover (any excess can be carried forward for 5 years). You will benefit from a €20,000 ceiling for 2024 if you pay taxes in France. If you are not resident in France please refer to your country administration.
